No, i replaced the engine. The loss of power was from the rod bearing going bad. With replaced engine, that has like 140K (I have 137K on ODO), I am getting the code. It runs fine.

Haven't noticed anything bad from it yet, runs good normally.

This past week, it didn't have the SES on, and it was a little loud when first starting up (been like 10-20F out). Then friday, when coming to a stop after driving, it felt like the TC wouldn't unlock. Light popped on Friday night and haven't had any of those issues now.

oh okay, i forgot the engine problem was before the swap. So you still got your old one to swap some parts from. But still requires more work on the engine for now. If i had to that much work on the car, i would just rebuild the engine, put some internal upgrades. But at this age of the car, it's just not worth it, unless money ain't an issue.

I got rid of the old engine already.

If money wasn't an issue, I really wouldn't be driving this car.
I really don't have a ton of money into the car, mostly just time.

That's true. Time is not replaceable.
