Default 08 Maxima Bluetooth and SWC issues after reverting to factory radio

Last february I replaced my factory Bose non nav radio with a dual head unit with CarPlay. After a while I got the PAC SWI CP-2 steering wheel control adapter and was only ever able to get it to partially work. The radio crapped out last week and I put the factory unit back in and took out the swc adapter. I then plugged the connector back in at the Bluetooth module but the controls didnít work. I plugged the Bluetooth module cable back into the cap that loops some of the wires and then the controls worked as normal with the exception of the two mode buttons whose functions were flipped and no Bluetooth. When the connector is plugged into the Bluetooth module under the seat, I see the light by the sun roof indicating the hands free Bluetooth system is starting, but nothing happens when I press any of the swc buttons.

Does anyone have any idea what the issue may be? I figure I can rule out the clock spring since the airbag light is not on, the cruise control works fine and the swc controls work okay when connected the end capÖ
