Yes, the rear camber arms made it fall easily within specs.
Now for the front what I have done, and its been commonly practiced by alignment shops back In the day before they started making the aftermarket flimsy Chinese strut camber adjustment bolts is to enlarge the bottom hole in the strut enough to allow for camber adjustment. This way you are still using the Oem strong grade bolts not chopstics to hold your strut to your spindle.

I would be curious to see that. I think I know what you mean but kinda want a pic if you get a chance. Enlarge as a whole or lateral or vertical? I think you understand.

So you're chopping off the bottom half of an 07 bumper and combining it with the 06!?

Deadbolt & Kontra,
In short, I'm going to replicate what Edgar has done with the hybrid bumper but without a mold and with OEM fog lights retained. Im still not sure how low I can bring the 07 bumper. If I can't bring it low with rigidity being a primary focus, then I will also do a lip.

I wouldn't do that if I were you. The material of the bumpers is different than what you'll be using to hold them together. You'll run into issues not long after with bubbling and things coming loose. Trust me, I know. I molded the stillen lips (front and rear) before and they always have to be redone and refiberglassed/remolded.

If, for example, you get Edgar's hybrid, which is fiberglass, add a fiberglass lip, and mold them both in using fiberglass, then you'll have a solid piece. But 2 materials the same connected together using a third material will cause issues

You are right on point DB. I'm aware of that. What you don't know is that I have another brand new 6 gen bumper that's made out of the same plastic. This will be heated and joined with a proper filler rod as well as slightly flexible epoxy made just for this application. I'm not hacking my OEM bumper.

Just go to a local body shop and grab a couple old bumpers, when the newborn is sleeping sneak out to the garage and do some practice runs on joining the tears. Practice makes perfect buddy
On the back of any bumper is a stamp of what the composition of the plastic is. Then you can go to a body supply place and they will give you the filler rod you need.

You are right Dave. It will be a hell of a project given the fact that I have a lot of things on my plate, but more importantly is the fact that I have never done a project of this caliber. Ive repaired torn bumper covers and Motorcycle fairings but nothing this size. No worries , there will be pics taken though

Kontra, by the time Im done with this project, money wise, you could easily have gone down the route of Edgar's bumper and be done with it. I truly love fabbing my own things, making thigs different. This combined with the fact that shipping and importation duty fees would have made Edgar's bumper cost me $700-800 plus my paint costs. These were the deciding factors for me.

Wow, thank you very much James. Honestly, whether you believe it or not, you are the first person that has ever said that to me about my work, other then my bosses ofcourse
The things I've seen you do to your Max so far, it's only fitting that you make your own bumper. You, by far, have my favorite Max! Well done sir!

I am actually gonna practice on the wife's rear bumper. She was rear ended a while back and it tore near a reflector in the bumper. Gonna try that out. I can always get replacement if I am not happy.

Thanks for the heads up though on how to get the material info. That should come in handy.

So says Latinmaxima, so it shall be done!

No not yet. Project is going on hold due to the fact that I bought the wheels. I need to mock up the new bumpers together and line everything up. This, combined with my schedule as well as the fact that I'm splitting the headlights again will require that I pull the car off the road for a couple weeks

Once I get the wheels, I will shift focus onto the bumper again
