![]() Congratulations, your vehicle will be auto detected by the ASWC. ASWC Connections 1) Connect the Black wire of the ASWC to ground. You may use the same grounding point as the aftermarket radio. 2) Connect the Red wire of the ASWC to a 12 volt accessory wire, one that turns on and off with the ignition key. 3) Connect the Gray/Red wire of the ASWC to pin 3 of the vehicle. Below is a picture of 4) Connect the White/Green wire of the ASWC to pin 10 of the vehicle. 5) Connect pin 2 of the vehicle harness to Ground. 6) All other wires on the ASWC please tape up, they will not be used.. But the problem are step 3, because.. I called axxess to figure out but, he said my 16 pin connection supposed to have pine 3 red with white stripe but my connection dond't have it. please someone can help me with point 3,4, and 5... Picture of my connection wire will joined by attachement.. Thank you Last edited by doub; 10-23-2012 at 12:09 AM. Reason: Resolved Thank you |

I can't find the connector.
Does it connect to the head unit (where the cassette and CD are) or does it connect to the screen/control cluster (climate and radio). Is it white or gray? I checked all of the wires and non of them match the instructions that I could find with any steering wheel audio controls. I have the base stereo (non-Bose) no nav. Thanks, Jeff |

So I am finished and I have a few pics and some video. I was alone though so I couldn't get the best shots while doing the work. For everyone's reference the plug used is the single plug that plugs into the factory controls. Its a small 16pin plug. It comes through the radio bracket near the ac controls.
![]() ![]() ![]() I am going to make a small how to. I couldn't video programming but it basically auto programs. I tapped the volume up buttons and viola. I will add the how to video link once it is done. ![]() |

Just ordered mines from Amazon. It arrived on Wednesday. Did you guys just splice/heat-shrink into the wires?

No I didn't have any of those issues. I think you have the wrong harness. And you definitely need to ground the amp and chassis. What aftermarket harness are you using. If anything on me and I can send you my number. Feel free to call or text after that.
