Default Service Engine Soon Light at 100k?

Just wondering if there is an automatic Service Engine Soon light at 100k to prompt some kind of service? I have a 2005 SL. I was driving the other day, I was about to turn over 100k, so I was paying attention to the odometer. Exactly at 100k my SES light came on. It seemed to be too perfect of timing to just come on then...
