Default Know Anyone In Nissan Service Dept?

I have 74k on my car, and I have a extended warranty that came with the car (for an additional $2gs) from Total Protective Services or something. Its valid for 2 more years or until 100k.

How does Nissan dealerships work with aftermarket warranties? I was told its valid at any Nissan dealership. Do I call up the warranty company and tell them my shocks need to be replaced? Do I go into Nissan service department and ask them to do my shocks, pay up front, then ask the warranty company for reimbursement?

I would like to get my shocks done under warranty, its covered according to the warranty plan I have.

Any info is greatly appreciated. Thanks guys!

usually with an aftermarket warranty, you have to pay upfront and they pay you back, but there are some that the dealer will be able to submit the bill straight to the warranty company. I would call the dealer your going to go through, explain your situation, and they should be able to tell you how to go about it.

Yoooo. lol. Bring it to the dealer n explain to the service advisor about ur warranty. Make sure to give him all the info about the warranty. They will over look the car n call the warranty place for u. Be sure that they do what they said they were gonna do. I seen TONS of BS claims when it comes to warranties.

They say something is bad but really isnt. They say they changed it but dont. U have to find out what ur warranty covers. It may cover shocks n struts.
