Default Fidelity Car Warranty

well like a few others i heard of a warranty company that will cover you even if your car is modified from a old member Winterfaust (chris). I decided to give it a try and i got the warranty around 86k miles and they covered the car for 2 years/24,000 for about $2300.

First off my car isn't modified as much as others. but i have the following...

Nismo CAI, NWP Spacers, NWP VIAS Block Plate, Progress Springs, KYB Shocks/Struts, Tinted windows, black LED tails, painted headlights with red halos, mesh grill, drilled/slotted rotors with ss brake lines, racingline fstb, and timing advanced.

the reason why i stated my mods is because i was mistaken that this warranty company did cover your car even if it was modified. It clearly states in its booklet that it will not cover the defective part if it is modified. Well even with my car lightly modified I used this warranty company twice with no issues at all. Even gave me $35 a day for a rental.

1st time i used it was to get my AC compressor and the front and rear motor mounts replaced. The bill came out around $1,800 and they covered it all. I just had to pay my $100 deductible.

2nd time i used which was just within the past week was for a new timing chain/tensioner and a side motor mount. Which again they covered it all and i just had to pay the deductible. This bill came out to something like $2,400 and I had no issue at all with the warranty company.

So I def got my money's worth out of the warranty company and more. So I would recommend it to the lightly modified people. But i'll post the link to kenji experience with the same company below this just so you can get a better idea if you want to try this company or not.

Fidelity Warranty Service

Like is said the company name is Fidelity Warranty Services. Oh and fyi I went with the gold package.

ya sorry should have given more info on that.

ya i did the monthly payment plan since it was easier on my bank account. but you can do it at one time. they give you different options on how many months you want the payment plan to be.

you also choose the deductible you want. that also effects how much your warranty will be as a whole as well.

Sorry but I will never buy an aftermarket warranty again. Its a hit or miss. If you have any slight mods... you pretty much have to fight to the end to get something actually done. I don't have time for BS.

I'd rather pay for a part and take it to a reputable mechanic who is knowledgable in that type of work.

no u missed the other part. i had used the warranty TWICE. once for $1800 and then again for $2400.

so i def got my money's worth.

as for hit or miss i can't deny that. thats why even though i never had any trouble at all i posted kenji's experience so people can get an idea of what they could deal with + why i listed any mods i had at all. so it's easier to compare.

First warranty job was because of the person who did the work on your car. Otherwise it might not have gone so well.

from what i read in the booklet it just stated that if the part your trying to replace under warranty is broken due to a modification you made then it is voided.

Hey guys, I also got this warranty from Winterfraust a couple years ago and I finally am going to try to use it. My heater fan is making a high pitched whining noise and i want to get it taken care of. the only problem is i lost the paperwork i got from winterfaust for this warranty company. what is needed to be done to use the warranty? do you have to call them first before taking it to a shop?
