Default Extended Service Warranty/Contract

So right now i am at 46K on my 08 and i bought it as a certified used car. I have been thinking about going for an extended warranty/service contract through Auto Exam in Houston. The reason i considered them is because I am financing through my local credit union and it was offered to me when i bought the car. The jist is they are offering a bumper to bumper coverage policy (excluding normal wear and tear items-tires, brake pads, etc) for $1281. That is for 4 yrs or 100K which ever comes first. For an extra 200 bucks, i can get a money back guarantee where if i never use the policy, they will refund me the 1281. What do you guys think about this kind of warranties? I treat my car very well and spoil the crap out of her. I have not had any issues with the car. I plan on keeping and driving this baby until the wheels fall off. I also asked them about the exhaust and they said its fine.

You have an extended warranty on your CVT based on that new warranty issued by Nissan. I wouldn't do it because I take of my car and if something did go wrong i'd just pay for it one time. Of course you'll have the regular minor wear/tear issues. Up to you....

Yes my biggest worry is the transmission. I dont push it hard, only when i get stuck behind some slow idiot in the left lane and refuses the be courteous and move over to the right lane. The other common problem i have read about is with the tensioners on the timing chain? (not sure if that is correct) Overall i think our maximas are pretty solid. My sentra took a huge beating and i never once had a major issue. Ill do some more research and ponder some more.
