Default Whining noise from engine bay

Hey guys. So I recently got an 06 maxima with the 5 speed shiftable auto tranny and it started making this whining noise that gets louder as the engine speed goes up. The dealer says that it is a bad driving belt tensioner pulley but I took it to my mechanic to get it diagnosed and he said it's coming from inside the transmission, an internal problem. He recommended me to take it to a transmission specialist and they said I need to either rebuild or replace the entire transmission. What do you guys think? Could it be the timing chain tensioner, a bad bearing in the transmission, the driving belt tensioner pulley or is my transmission failing apart and need a rebuild or replacement?

that could be so many things, can't really help with noisey bearing with engine speed without being there to try and pin point it. It could be all those things. Try to rule out transmission rebuild as much as possible. It's the least likely but search for more opinions like other dealers and mechanics before coming to a conclusion.

I am going to take it to a Nissan dealer and have it checked out because they know their cars. A friend's dad works on cars and he suggests that I change the transmission fluid and filter.
