Default Tranny Seal Leaking After Replacing CV Axle

After I replaced both of my front CV axles in my Max I realized that I am getting some oil leakage that is being slung under the car. After closer inspection, it appears that where the passenger side CV axle enters the tranny is leaking. Has anyone ever had this issue? Perhaps I knicked the seal when inserting the axle.

Any tips on replacing that seal?

You sure it's leaking and not left over from the CV replacement? I'd wipe dry and watch it. If it's leaking then you probably gonna have to replace the seal, but I haven't heard of this particular problem before.

Perhaps. I'll take your advice and see if it truly is leaking... it just seems like more fluid than a few dribbles left over from the axle change...
