Default Squeaky Clutch Pedal??

So pretty much my clutch pedal is making a squeaky noise every time I push down on it,
It sounds like something just needs to grease or wd40 but I talked to someone at a parts store and they said its a bad throw out bearing and that I would have to drop the tranny to replace it >.<

Does anyone know anything about this?

Also sometimes when I release the clutch it makes a sound like a spring releasing under pressure, Just a little bit worried I am not to knowledgeable on manual trannys

I would like an answer here too. Mine squeaks like a spring under load but I have greased all up in that area above the pedal with white lithium grease... it still squeaks...

Also, not to thread jack or anything, but my clutch pedal is HARD. I drove a VW the other day with a 5 speed and the clutch was so smooth when I got back in my car I thought something went out! Perhaps a master cylinder or fluid change would help?

there is an adjustment screw on the clutch pedal BUT its a PITA , be prepare to be in a awkward position and barely half a turn radius on the screw.

as far as the squeek is it interior or outside the car ?

Personally I hear it inside.

SO the adjustment screw, clockwise or counterclockwise? Any more detail as to where its located on the pedal assembly?

Mine does that once in a while. I usually fix it by turning the knob on my stereo clockwise. Another way to fix it is to get a nice Fujita Intake and let it roar, you wont be focused on that any longer.

I don't have a check engine light. I did when I installed the spacers but it's gone now.

I hear the squeak from inside the car when i press the clutch pedal down

When I release (mild to fast release) I hear what seems to be like a spring being released from pressure I am not sure if that has always been there and I just noticed it or if it is new
That does sound like it is from outside of the car

its the fork tensioners in the transmission, i had the same issue and thought it was the pedel, so i tighted the wire in the shifter cabke thinking it was just loose, but that didnt fix it, so i checked the transmission and saw the fork tenisoners needed to be lube, lubed them and it solved the isssue,,,
