Default Slotted Brakes = No No

I orderd brakes today and they told me that slotted rotors are not recommended for our cars and they won't warranty rotors or pads if I get them slotted. Is this correct and has anybody else experienced troubles with the slotted rotors? Any help would be great

Whoever you spoke to, needs to LEARN more.

EBC makes drilled/slotted rotors specifically for out 6thgen and so does fastbrakes.com. They offer full warranty as well.

I've had Aliens (drilled/slotted) for 3-4 years now with no issues on 4-Piston Calipers. No issues at all.

I appreciate the help guys. I must have gotten bad info. I picked up the double drilled and pads today and they look alright. I dont drive like I stole it, so it wont impact me either way. If I could ever figure out how to post a pic I would like opinions on the outcome. Thanks all.
