Default SES Light On

Earlier today, jumped in the ride to run errands, stopped at gas station to gas up. Riding out, car feels erratic, power range doesn't feel normal, and car idling erratically. On the way back home a few hrs. ago, same issues and the SES light is now on!!!!!...I'm like WTF???? It has never been on before. Car has 104K on odo. and stock everything. What could be the cause/possibilities???

I had something like that happento me on a new pathfinder. Acceleration was sluggish, idle was rough. I got it towed to the dealer and come to find out it was fine when the guy drove it up the tow ramp. We chalked it up to something clogged in the fuel line temporarily. Hard to say for sure if you're having the same issue.

Can u explain the two sec fix on this???? Gas cap is on tight (opened and resealed several times). If it is 'bad gas', I've added octane boost additive as well as fuel cleaning, SES light still on...how to reset????

The rubber grommet on mine wasn't sealing properly so there was a vacuum leak. I unscrewed the cap, resat the rubber ring and screwed the cap back on. The power came back instantly. SES went away after sometime.
