Default Recommend a Remote Start for Manual Transmission 2005

Evening folks,
I was curious if anyone knew if you could install a remote start on a 2005 with a manual transmission?
If so, can you recommend one or a couple options?

Appreciate it,
Naf

it is not recommend , but you will need to bypass the clutch switch.

reason is, I have seen people leave their cars in gear and you can get the picture in case you remote start it.

it depends on the installer if they willing to do this, most alarm will start any car, its just by passing the switch

Yes you can. Look for the Viper 5901. As Alan mentioned... You need an experienced installer to do the bypass.

The bypass isn't that big of a deal. On some cars all the clutch needs to see is ground. Viper systems work well with manual cars. There is a process that needs to be done prior to exiting the vehicle to put it in a mode in order to remote start the car.

Makes it nearly impossible to remote start the car while it's in gear.

+1 on compustar, for those of u that arent familier with compustar the easist way for me to sum it up is that compustar is what DEI wants to be. DEI is a great company and extremely popular primarily due to there larger contracts with retailers such as best buy. Compustar comes standard with a manual transmission feature. while dei makes many units everything from Avital to Viper is made by them but remember just because something is more common doesnt mean its the right solution for everybody. in my opinion compustar is one of the best alarms/remotestarts they have features and technology that dei hasnt even started to explore yet. So what you should do is check out ur local shops to check out the differences, if u do need an install you can see me if ur in jersey

+1 for the Viper. Currently have it installed and love it. Compustar doesn't sound too bad, just do your research and pick the one you want & like. Not the one everyone says they have!

This is what I've got.

RF-2W9000-SS | Remote Starts and Alarms | Compustar.com

With Compustar you can use their module... the Blade.
