Default Radiator Fan Won't Turn Off

I got home today from a long trip, now my driver side radiator fan stays on even after I shut the car off, Any ideas? I had to unplug it and park the car I read 13v on the plug the a/c side is off and wont come on when I turn on the a/c but it is 40 degrees outside.

I would say it would be normal for the fan to stay on after a long trip, even up to 30 minutes after you turned the car off.

How's your engine coolant levels?

It's normal for the fan to run after turning off the car.

Happens on all cars. I have an Accord and it didn't turn off till about 5-6 minutes yesterday.

As mentioned, check your coolant fluid's as well.

How long are you letting the fan run before unplugging it? Are we talking minutes or hours here?

Just 15 minutes, I went out this morning and plugged it in and is still continuous running, I do notice the fan speed varies when the car starts, is there relays for the fans? or could the fan it self be bad

Well if it's running for 15+ minutes, then something is definitely wrong. May be the relay. Paging @DAlastDON, he should have schematics for these kind of things
