Default Problem With Steering In Cold Weather

today when i get in my car after work as im pulling out the parking spot i notice my steering wheel jerking and my power steering band making a loud churping noise. it was about 30 degrees out. ass i drove car for about 10 min and the car warmed up it stopped. has this happened to anyone?

Happens to me too! I'm probably wrong but I think it has to do with a belt.

could be a bad ps belt, possibly low on fluid, or bad ps pump. either way it isnt normal

We've had some single-digit weather, and I've had no problems with my power steering.

It happens on my 05. I live in the DC area. When it gets cold it makes the noise. No pulsating in the steering wheel though. I thought the pump might be broken, but i heard it was common. Hope this helps.
