Default Passenger Mirror and Seats - Memory

Got my 07 Nissan back from a TPMS recalibrate from Nissan (had one replace that I busted off), and now when I unlock my car the seats and mirrors move to the driving memory position and the passenger side mirror goes all the way and starts clicking.

Help. Tried setting the memory positions again, but nothing fixes it.

Replicate steps:
1) pulling into garage
2) put car in park
3) turn ignition off, seat moves back, steering wheel up
4) lock car
5) push button to unlock car, seat moves forward, steering wheel goes into driving position, and right mirror moves up and starts clicking - and I haven't even sat in the friggen car yet!!!!

Normally, I'd
1) unlock the car
2) turn ignition to accel or on, seat moves into position with me on it, steering wheel moves down and mirrors set to my memory #1

What gives???

I would take it back and tell them to fix it.

Default Re: Passenger Mirror and Seats - Memory

Try disconnecting the battery.

See if this erases the memory. If it does, try setting new memory positions and see if the problem has resolved itself.

If not>>> as DAlasDON said, back to the dealer.

Is your problem that the memory is no longer saved or that the mirror clicks...or both?

Mirror fix...it's just out of sync. Push the mirror back in. Literally push the glass back. It'll click back and be back on track.

For your seat. You're going to have to reprogram your settings and then go through the save steps again.

mine does the clicking sometimes too. that just means that its maxed out in that direction. its memory wants to keep it moving and it doesnt have room to move so it keeps clicking like that. try disconnecting the battery and reseting your mirror postions and your seat positions.

Think I might have fixed it, we'll see... If not I'll try disconnecting the battery.

I just kept reprogramming the seats and mirrors.

Default Re: Passenger Mirror and Seats - Memory

well, no go, did the funky thing again today.

added a missed step:
1) pulling into garage
2) put car in park
3) turn ignition off, seat moves back, steering wheel up (GOOD)
4) lock car
5) push button to unlock car to get in and go, seat moves forward, steering wheel goes into driving position (WTF), and right mirror moves up and starts clicking (WTF) - and I haven't even sat in the friggen car yet!!!!
6) then seat moves back into the position it should be prior to turning it to "on" so that I can get in. (GOOD?)

so disconnecting the battery resets the memory? will it wipe radio too (not a big deal)? and if i disconnect battery, red side first, black (ground) last? (hey, i'm a automotive-challenged)...

something seems jacked with the right mirror, when programming the mirrors for reverse, i.e., switching the mirror selector and then putting the car in reverse, the left mirror moves down just fine, but when switching to the right with the mirror selector, the right mirror goes all the way down and starts clicking, clicking, clicking and then stops. switch back to the left, and the right doesn't go back into position but the left down as it should. WTF.

also, just talked to the dealer and they're talking to the tech that worked on my car. all they were supposed to do was reset the TPMS. not sure if they did anything else, but this didn't happen before the dealer!
