Default Need Recommendation Shift Kit Install In Baltimore, MD

I have an 04 maxima with 100,00 miles, it also has the shifting problems such as all the jerking, bucking, etc. I also have SES codes P0744 for the camshaft position sensor, P0102 for mass air flow sensor. I have already purchased the Transgo Shift Kit but can't find a mechanic who will put in. I live in Baltimore, Maryland and would appreciate advice/recommendations from someone who would have knowledge. Thanks.

if your getting those codes, change them right away, this is one of the main reason for your tranny shifting eratic.

esp the camshaft postion sensor, as for the MAF , if indeed it has gone bad theres a few things you can do.

head to your local autozone or advance and look for CRC MAF CLEANER,
you can attempt to clean it yourself, its probally just dirty.

If you do this process and still has the same code, A) try to clear them and drive it for about 50 miles, if the code pops up then your other option is to replace it with a OEM MAF or JET MAF (whichever is cheaper)

the camshaft postion sensor must be a dealer part and you should try to change this asap.

as for the transgo shift kit , your going to have to find a local tranny shop or maybe theres 6thgen memebers around you that know someone that knows someone.
