Default Need help w dome light switch asap

The other day, the main rocker fell outta my 04 Elite's front dome cluster.
The problem is, apparently someone (no one will admit) who last touched the switch must've had it in the OFF position!
So now, the domes will not come on when the doors open or on remote unlock.. Which is the way I prefer.
Can any of you tell me how to possibly set the dome(s) to my preferred mode while I hunt down a new Rocker switch ?
So we're all on the same page; Below are pics showing what the gap (where rocker belongs) looks like.

Not sure if you're just trying to figure out the original position of the switch or not? But if so, attached is photo of my 6th gen. Granted I don't have a sun roof, but should still be the same. Just trying to be helpful Click the image to open in full size.

Thanks Kristie !

But no, I do KNOW the position I need for the desired function.. I'm just wondering if there is a way to make this adjustment sans Rocker Switch.. So it's functional until I replace the switch.. Follow me?

Same thing here, what I did was to modify the cables, so that the light goes on when I open any of the doors, in this forum are the instructions for that, and took me about five minutes.

Hope this help.
