Default Lights Out

Good day folks. Some time last month I was driving my 07 se home from work. I was stuck in traffic in a slow lane and when my opportunity opened, i hit the gas and swerved out to the next lane. out the no where the car surged like 3 times and all power seemed to have been lost for a split second. When everything came back, my dash lights went out, after market raido went out, and my power folding mirrors no longer work. If anyone has any input on where to begin, please let me know. Thanks in advance

Have you checked fuses to see if something blew?

A fuse did blow, but it was due to something shorting out. Every time I plugged it a new fuse it would immediately blow. I had my boy pull out my head unit to take a look at the aftermarket radio. There is a black box that has 3 connectios. He opened the box and noticed a lil mark on what resembles a motherboard in a computer. It looks as if a tab was bent and touched where the mark was. Long story short, he bent the tab back, we plugged in a new fuse, and everything came back on. It's been good for a week but the radio started going off and on again last night. So I'm going to replace the radio and also look to finding out what that box actually is. I'll see if I can post a pic later
