The 2 hoses that came off the elbow where the throttle body is, do we combine them or do they go back to the throttle body?

Ok but its fixed now, I had the throttle body on the wrong way and the ses light went away. But now when I turn off the car, water or some liquid comes out of the place where the two hoses where connected on the throttle body, the kit didn't include any caps and I got some from autozone but I don't think they fit right..so when the water comes out and spills on the hot engine, alot of steam comes out the hood
