Default Holy Curb Rash!!!

Wow, how does something like this even happen!?!? It looks like someone took a chainsaw to it. Is that fixable? Not my wheels.

That is a lot. But you would be surprised. That thing could be fixed.

Are you trying to buy the wheels? Stop by a place that resurfaces rims and they will tell you. But the cost might not be worth it to fix it. But you never know until you get a real estimate to make final decision.

thinkin about it but idk. The wheels look filthy, not a big deal, they can be cleaned, but that rash looks deep. The others are good, its just this one. Guy said he went to a shop in the city and they would make all 4 look mint for $200. Unfortunately for me the closest place ive found that does fix them is an hour and a half away in syracuse. I could fix rgular rash and stuff myself with dremmel, wetsan and polish, but i never attempted somethin like that. So that is def. fixable though? The wheels are $250-300 a piece new.

RimDR in Syracuse mailed me back and said $135+tax each wheel, and it would have to be in there shop, and they cant come to me. Said they cant refinish them exactly without a lathe, but can repair the damage and blend it away so its not noticeable. Does that sound about right guys?

I think I'm gonna get them and try fixin that one myself. Not like I could make that any worse. I might just do the whole lip on all four. If I dont like how it comes out I guess I could just pay the 135 and have them do it over.
