Default Going Crazy

so recently ive posted all the problems ive been having and gotten no where. so now that more shit has piled up on my end ill list it all and hopefully some one will know what it is.

1st thing to go was my buttons for windows and locks, seat adjuster and trunk release on all the doors at the same time, still no luck.

2nd was battery needed to be jumped every time i needed to start the car, went to autozone where they charged my battery and an hour later the fully charged battery was installed and it worked for a day, the next day on the way to work, i needed a jump again. got jumped and as i was turning the corner from my house the car stopped accelerating. pushed it all the way to autozone and boght a used battery from them since i only had 50 bucks on me. car started with no problem and accerated with no problem. 2 days later i drove the wife to walmart no problem, left walmart and ate at quiznos. tried starting the car and nothing. even tried jumping the car and nothing not even any noise. had to get it towed to my house yesterday and the tow truck driver need to use thge booster poack to get my key out the ignition and it started up. this morning i tried to jump it and nothing just a small whining noise.. wtfffff... used a multimeter and its only holding 10 volts and when i crank it up it drops to 4. now i have no idea what it can be. alternator?
battery?
starter? all three? ive been losing my hair over this issue and itgs seems to be fucking me in the ass all in one week.. HELP

I would say alternator. One test I used to do years ago, start the car, disconnect the positive cable battery, if the car dies it meant the alternator was bad. If the car stays running, it meant the battery was dead. It was a pretty accurate test.

Now this was before the cars go all electronic, not sure if it would cause any problem now days to disconnect the positive cable once the car is started. I think you should be fine to try it.

Possibly loose pulley belts. Bottom line sounds like your battery is not getting a charge.

I did this test when I was diagnosing mine so I can vouch that it works. Just make sure your car is idling then pull the wire off. I think I pulled off both though. try this and if it dies its most likely your alternator IMO

Also, I dont know if you have one but if you have anything large draining alot of power (I.E. capacitor, amp etc) try unhooking it for a bit. I still say it sounds like your alternator

I don't understand how the battery reads 10 volts and then reads 4 volts after you start it. That means the alternator is not charging at all and the vehicle is running purely off the battery. But by that logic your car shouldn't even make it more than a few miles before it drains the battery and the car dies.

Are you using a relay to turn your amps on?? if so you might have a stuck relay and the amps are staying on. Disconnect your power line from the battery for a day and see what happens.

Check the output directly at the alternator. The alt probably putting some or low voltage but not sufficient to charge your battery.

Get a multimeter, find a good clean ground. And probe the post on the alternator while the car is running.

Check and compare the voltage at the battery as well while the car is running and that will indicate voltage drop in your battery cables/ground.

Thats a good start. Hope this helps.

replaced the sttarter and it works fine, i had then use a jump box to check the old alternator. come to find out my old alternator was drawing extreme amounts of current so it was making the jump box smoke like a mother. so thats why my batterry was reading low when i checked. but now all is fine for now.
