Default Could use some advice 110k miles

Hey guys, I have a 06 max sl. I just hit around 110k and I'm looking to do some modifications. My ass got that famous sagg and I have been scraping Occasionally. I have a 15 inch L7 in my trunk so that's an extra 75 pounds? I do not want to spend crazy money on coil overs, but I don't want shit. My other problem is I have a check engine light for my cat, so I'd like to get maybe a eBay catback, but I am told I need a high flow cat.

Tl;dr
What's a lowering springs that can handle subs in the trunk?
Do I need a high flow cat for a eBay catback?
A high flow cat should fix the codes it is throwing right? Will post code # in morning.Click the image to open in full size.

cat back might not fix the code, it depends what the code is. I deleted my third rear cat which does nothing for engine management. There are no sensors near it. Cat back is only the exhaust after the third rear one. even if you put a high flow as replacement, the two front cats by each manifold could possibly throw the code. It could even be one of the O2 sensors or other.

I ended up ordering Rachingline High flow cats and a Rachingline y-pipe. Maybe doing a eBay catback. I also got my self some kyb shocks and tein s lowering springs. I hope Rachingline ships fast
Ps: code was p0420, so I am not driving the car till this stuff is installed.

From what i read about the racing line shipping, you have to be lucky to get it fast or get a response or confirmation from the vendor. beware.

I have read the same, but not sure what else to do. I have a company car so I'm not to worried about not driving it. Ever hear of a number I can call or something. I sent an email, but no answer.

Racingline is not worth it. Extreme waits and terrible communication.

I ordered a MMI (just the front one). First had issues ordering it on the site. Then he got with me and helped me order it. After that nothing. It took like 2 months to get it. It would be nice if he just put something on the site that says long waits or lead times on item. He communication is just lacking. Then the MMI needed to be mounted to fit my motor mount correctly.

Racingline Performance

It seems hit or miss with them, but I don't think cattman is made anymore, so this seems the best option to fix my code and stuff. So hopefully I get lucky :-)
Only bad reviews I see are bad shipping, zillafreaks inserts and 1 miss cut on a bolt.

Racingline main issue is just shipping and communication. I wouldn't have really cares much about trimming the MMI to fit the mount, but after the long wait to get them and lack of communication, I shouldn't had to shave them.

I vote this.

I personally don't like the burnt tip look. I don't care for the muffler design on the non burnt.

Muffler design, I don't like the round ones you post. Reason is they look like ricer mufflers and it will give the maxima a ricer sounds instead of a nice sound. I have no proof of this, but ya.

Should bitch and tell them to send you the correct exhaust system or you will leave negative feedback and file a claim. LOL

Well first tein s tech is what I have and I have a box with 2 10inch 1400 watt monsters in my trunk and get no sag. Second I purchased racing line's pre cats around middle to end of November and got them In the beginning of January and they did send me an email and told me they were on back order and the part were being manufactured opinion order. So I really don't think that it's a terrible situation. Same thing happened with my RL sway bar too.

I plan on dropping in the exhaust, cats and y -pipe Sunday, since it'll be nice ish out. I have 0 gaauge power wire that I have routes through the door kick panels. I was thinking of either running it underneath the car or through the middle. Does anyone have experience with this?

The reason I do not want to have it on the door anymore is because, my kick plates don't go back on because, the wire is too fat

I have done similar on other cars. Ran the wire through the firewall behind the dash (normally around the pedals), then hide it under the carpet.

But lets us know how the exhaust does.
