Default Can I Install An HID Kit Using This Method?

Hey guys so I recently ordered my first hid kit and I was browsing through YouTube and found this pretty cool shortcut.
As the guy mentions, you don't have to drop the bumper to remove the Bulb.
Can I install an HID kit using this method? And what wires do I splice etc to install the kit.

And one more question:does anyone know what kind of bulb the 06 maxima se cornering light uses?

This is the video for those wondering:

Back on topic though, I guess that would work. I never tried it so I don't know. For me it's easier t drop the bumper, less then 7 minutes, if that.

I don't know if it's my meds or something, but that damn guy made me dizzy with his video. If it's a member here, I'm sorry... I'm just too damn medicated right now.

Now, on to few points in that video:

1. It's not easier to install a whole kit that way. The space you have once you twist the cap will not even be enough for you to install a whole HID kit PROPERLY. By properly I mean do it right so everything is sealed and no condensation gets into your headlight assy. IF you want to do it right, drop your bumper, take off both assys, drill the proper holes to run your wires and find a good place to mount your ballasts.

2. The flip key charge of $120 is completely ridiculous. Once you get that case with the blank, take off the 3 little screws in the back and take the blank by itself to be cut at any key place for less than $5.00. Put everything back the way it was and VIOLA!

The dealer won't be able to program the chip inside that case because it's not strong enough to hold the programming, so you will need to use the chip in your stock key for the key to work. I know that because I have 2 of them for Panda and made 6 more for few members in So Cal.. plus 1 more member in the East Coast somewhere.

3. The shift knob and the dash kit he has are ugly.

That's it for now. I see doubles.

No, No.. You don't need to open your headlights. I'm just saying it'll be much easier if you take out the whole assy to install your HID kit. It'll be a bit of time consuming but you'll get it done right.

And I have been resting all day. I've been sleeping all day. I wake up, take meds and get knocked out again.

I know that when I tried to do it this way in my 07 I could not get that cover with the bulb out Due to a metal plate being there and not letting me move it much..but maybe 04-06 had a little more room to wiggle it out
