Default Broken Dome Light Switch

My domelight switch is completely broken off. Luckily it is stuck in the off position, or half lucky as id rather it be id the door position, just thankfull its not in the on position as my batt would die if i didnt disconnect it everytime i got out f the car.

Here's every piece that broke off currently in my cup holder

Here's what it looks like without the switch. Im trying to figure out how to fix this. Couldnt get a close up of the area as the phone refused to focus when i got close.

How would I go about fixing this? Any help would be greatly appreciated.

You'll probable have to buy a whole new console assembly. I bought one on eBay to replace my switch that was broken as well.

Bumping this up to add a little info. My '05 recently started blowing the 15a tail lamp fuse. Would replace it and then it would randomly blow out again within 24hrs. Checked and rechecked everything in my car, all looked good. Went to turn on the dome lights (never really use that switch, always leave it set to off), and noticed the switch all of a sudden had some slack in it, didn't click into place anymore. I also found out that that little damn switch is what was blowing my fuse.

Just putting this out there in case anyone else may be dealing with this problem, trying to track down the 15amp assassin

How does anyone go about breaking the dome switch? Even if it were used everyday, which I doubt, it should not fall apart or wear out.
