Default Backup Sensor Buzzer Location

Hi all,

The backup sensor button light is always lit on my 2007 Maxima. I entered backup sensor diagnostic mode, and the reported failure is "21" which is the backup sensor buzzer.

I've looked under the panel behind the switches, and I don't see a buzzer. Can someone please help me find the backup sensor buzzer so that I can replace it? Do you have an exploded view diagram of the area that you can email me?

Thanks in advance

I have an 08 Maxima with the same problem. Does anybody have an answer as to where the backup sensor buzzer is located? Various searches have returned various results for me. Thanks!

Maxima81,

What I learned is that the buzzer is part of the whole control module for the backup sensor, so the whole controller had to be replaced. I took it to my dealer for replacement.

Thanks for the diagram! That's exactly what I was looking for. It's just a matter of pulling off the bottom cover and you're there. Awesome.

@Maxima81, Were you able to replace your buzzer, I am having the same problem on my 07. Also if you did replace the buzzer can you tell me where you got it from. Thanks
