Default Alignment Question

Ok, i went to the dealer yesterday to get an alignment. mainly because i ran through my rear 20's last season. Toe in was slightly obv.

They said that they couldnt get the rear all the way back to spec. So im fearfull that i'll burn through another set of tires. Drivers side is slightly lower in the rear than the pass side. Do you think i need new springs in the back? Which is what they are THINKING... Dont really wanna spend almost $300 for them...Fuuuuuuuuuuuuu

Here is the printout from them..if it helps

I have the exact same problem! I just got new tires 4 months ago and the rears are half gone on each half of the tire. I hope some member can come up with a brilliant idea on this!!

Hey I have the same problem I ask for help on a thread I created but nobody seem to know what's wrong. My is the rear passenger side sits lower then the driver side, also the rear passenger tire/rim is closer to the rear fender then the driver side is. Took it to the dealership and they said they couldn't do anything about it, theirexplanation was since I lower the car the frame might have shift. Here is my alignment sheet.

Once lowered and with rims.. The dealer won't ever be able to get you perfectly aligned( or any other shop for that matter) because they machine is calibrated for the stock tire size once they put the vin # in... Your beat bet is to go to awhile hat can align 20's or better and it still won't be 100%... play with your tire pressure and monitor tires often to check for uneven wear...

Poping up an old post, but did anyone try this 350Z Cam kit? I went for an alignment last year and had the same issues. They said that they could probably just throw in a bigger adjustment bolt, but the wizards at Nissan made it so you have to drop the gas tank to replace the bolt.

Also wondering how intensive the labor costs would be for a cam kit too? I'm guessing $80 for the alignment anyway, $119 for the kit, and what... 2 hours labor?

Did the correct alignment make a steering difference?

Yeah man it wasn't this year, it was last year. Time flies.

ORLY? Frederick Nissan has been doing mine. They have to take the front of the machine off to clear my front lip but they do it. Probably for more than $40! Let me know when you go.

They really are plug and play. Take off old ones, put new ones on, get alignment. There is nothing special or difficult about replacing them at all.
