Default Adding Parking Sensors

Hey guys,

I had a question. If I wanted to add parking sensors to my SE that didn't come with them form the factory, how hard would this be?

I just got rear ended and I will need a new bumper. Before I ordered one I was going to see if I could order one with sensors and just plug them up where they belong.

Is there anything else I need to do besides plugging them in the harness?

Thanks

Not sure if cars are prewired for them. But all you need is power, ground, and reverse wires and a speaker behind the dash.

I been looking at this too,the cheaper way to do is to get one off eBay you will wired them to ur back up lights so they only work when u are backing up.I don't know how good those kits are but for $45 shipped I guess is not so bad.
I'm going to get one and I let you know.....

I am in the process of having my rear bumper replaced due to an accident. The body shop said the bumpers from Nissan come WITHOUT the holes for the sensors...they have to drill the holes.

I got one from Nissan and it came with holes and I had to send it back for one with out.

That was when I was doing the 07' rear conversion.

I thought those holes were to fasten the bumper? Not for sensors... could be wrong.

NVM... I just looked at my receipt. They don't. The first was probably aftermarket and the one I bought was OEM.
