Default Dyno BOP (Block-Off Plate)

So I found some of my sheets,

my mods Exhaust , Jita Intake , lightweight pulley and UTEC ( UNTUNED )

As you see here I have a few sheets and around 5K RPM there's a DIP,

this is due to the VIAS kicking on , with my last Dyno I was using my own VIAS mod and you can clearly see a cleaner graph.

I made more power later on which I am trying to find the sheets or vids.

This is more to prove that for MYSELF , I believe in the VIAS

When you say "vias mod" what have you done to it to mod it? And is this your vias mod vs. a bop???

I would need to take the VIAS out and take some pics,

basically I drilled 5 3/8 holes into the plate.

3 up top

2 on the bottom ,

When I get sometime I will take some pics and a write up and the theory behind of what we did here, this mod is credited to my boss Freston Mack @ Emerald Performance.

this is for non ssim of course

That would be good, I've basically stayed away from Vias block off and SSIM. I just don't want to loose anymore low end being 5AT.

I have the bop and I'm honestly thinking about switching back, the bop is great for highway driving but I'm pretty much stop sign to stop sign most of the time

Has anyone ever measured how much low end decline there is due to the BOP..? I know there is some loss but gains are more at mid to high end.. I guess you gotta lose some to get some..

Hey Nismo1, I'm in for your write up on your mod to the VIAS- really wondering about which 'plate' you're referring to when you indicated drilling into....the butterfly, or the actual housing???....trying to be patient on that man.....

With mine, instead of the BOP's available, I got another VIAS, gutted the butterfly, metal epoxied the swivel for the butterfly stationary (and to seal the very minute opening), and VOILA!!! BOP!
I swear since doing this with the custom intake setup I have, the pickup is instantaneous, and the high end pulls. I haven't figure out yet why it feels like that, but I'm still researching with my buddies.....

the butterfly im refering to is the VIAS itself.
when you pull the whole thing out , you will see the butterfly

I havent had anytime in the last week to do anything, at this point my house might as well be a hotel because I come home ,shower , sleep and work.

havent went into my garage in 3 weeks, almost forgot what I drive
