I have a 6spd manual. I'd be interested in all 4. Have other colors or are they all black. Can you give a little more info on these. Might start a group buy if the price is right and the product is quality.

They're actually a very dark blue but it's the only color I offer for them (haven't actually thought about dying them different colors!).

The Material:
The material is either Nylatron (a nylon-based plastic with stronger qualities and a stiffer feel than conventional polyurethane) or aluminum (which I only recommend for racing-only applications).

The Good:
The purpose of the mounts is this: over time, the torque produced from your engine will wear and tear the rubber in the factory mounts, causing them to break and allowing your engine to rock back and forth in your bay. It'll happen eventually, always does. But, these mount bushings take the place of the rubber in your factory mounts, and when they do, it keeps the engine from rocking back and forth.

The result? Better traction off the line, less wheel hop, less jarring from the engine bouncing around on broken mounts, and so forth. It'll even help keep weight from shifting when you corner. I've even had a few members with the manual transmissions tell me it feels like their transmission shifts smoother or crisper when they replaced the transmission mount.

Not to mention, I offer a Limited Lifetime Warranty on these mounts. They'll never break if installed properly!

The Bad:
There is a down-side though: even with the Nylatron mounts which I recommend for street-duty cars, you can feel a lot more engine vibrations than you normally would, since the Nylatron doesn't have much give to it and won't absorb the engine vibrations like the OEM rubber did. A lot of members tell me that it's really noticeable with all four mounts replaced, and of course aluminum would be the worst since it has no give. But, some guys don't mind or care since they track their cars. I'd recommend just the front/rear mounts for most cars.

The Install:
The mount bushings are designed to take the place of the factory rubber inside the OEM mounts, so you have to either remove the old material yourself or get it pressed out, then press these in (can either have a shop do or if you have a bench vise or some other home tools you can get these in). I offer free install of my bushings into anyone's mounts if they want to ship their mounts to me. Usually just takes a day to return them once I've got your mounts.

I am interested but not just yet. Have some other things to do first. I have an automatic though as well so I would probably just do front and rear as you suggest.

Is that the housing that is broken?
If it's just the mount's rubber and stuff, the bushing will take care of that, but the housing needs to be in good shape.

I suggest the front/rear for anyone doing daily driving. The other two are great for added kick if your car is beyond normal daily driving status.

I've still got a little time before I can get the driver side (transmission) mount for the autos. An aluminum one wouldn't be too hard to make, but trying to make a Nylatron one will be tougher.

I do not, but it wouldn't be hard at all to make them for the 4th gens (or 5th gens for that matter!). If you're interested, why not make a thread to gain some interest? If enough people want some I'll make some soon and even give you guys a Group Buy price.

Okay my motor mount is shot, housing is not cracked, rubber just torn. I think this is the one I need but I'm not sure. My motor mount is kind of on the top passenger side above the pulleys.

I'm not sure about the pressing them in part, shipping it out to you for that may not be an option because my tech is going to do the work over the weekend. Do you have any "cores"? Send me the upgraded version and charge me a core, I'll ship my mount house back after the swap?

Did I pick the right mount? He said my front (near the radiator) electronic mount is fine. Does your front mount replace the electric mount in the front?

Yes you did, the passenger mount is the one above the pulleys on the passenger side.

I have a spare housing I could send you with a core charge, I'll PM you the price.

My front mounts for autos will replace the electric mount, however the electric assist no longer works. It won't throw any codes, but the electric-hydro assist no longer functions since my mount is solid.

It'll even help keep weight from shifting when you corner.....Not to mention, I offer a Limited Lifetime Warranty on these mounts.

I'd recommend just the front/rear mounts for most cars.....
The good: that is exactly what I am looking for, I've already replaced my Motor Mounts a couple times, the electric (lower mount?) is pretty expensive.
I could feel my top mount being broken, especially on hard acceleration. YUCK! I am looking forward to the upgrade.

The bad: I hate vibration, that's why I notice it BUT I am hoping since I am only replacing the top mount that it won't be so bad.
