Excellent question. All my Craftsman and Snap-On tool have life time warranty and that's what I expect from all my tools.

My dad was a Snap-On tool dealer for like 20 years. I know all to well how pricey the snap-on tools are. Haha. But they are top notch quality!

Our warranty is industry standard: 1 year from date of purchase, 90 days for calibration. We have a repair/calibration facility located in Chicago in case anything ever does need to be done to the wrench. You would send it here for recalibration (which is $30, including shipping back to you).

That is true for hand tools, but the lifetime guarantee does not apply to torque wrenches for either company (with the exception of the craftsman traditional beam wrenches).

the price on this isnt bad. i might jump on this. i need a torque wrench

now, i've been eye-balling the huskey torque wrench for a while now and it has a greater torque range: 50 - 250 FT lbs of torque. the only spot i can imagine myself needing the most torque is when i take out the crankshaft pulley. other than that, i dont know where else i would need that much torque.

any feedback?

Never use a torque wrench to take OFF the crank pulley

i meant tightening the crankshaft bolt. sorry for the confusion.

i know a torque wrench is never meant to break anything loose, only to tighten
