Default Proper Care For Powder Coated Wheels

What's the best/proper way to care for powder coated wheels? I always wash them with soap and water when I wash my car, but what about long term? Is there any sort of sealant or anything like that to keep them looking fresh? Will winter road salt harm them? I'd appreciate any and all suggestions. Thanks!

Soap and warm water, that's all. Basically treat them the same way you would the body. Wax them too once in a while. Road salt will probably eat the shine

WAX would be my first attempt. But even before that just like my paint I LOVE to use a sealant. Like McGuires NXT stuff. It really does well!!! But beyond that washing all the time will do well!!!

I wash them when I wash the car, then I use "Detailer's Pro Wheel Glaze":

http://www.autogeek.net/dp-wheel-glaze.html

It leaves a nice, slick finish on the wheels!

I wash them. Then claybar them. Then use collinite 845. It's a synthetic wax/sealer. It lasts around 6 months. You can apply a coat of carnauba wax over the collinite too You can treat them just like the paint.
