Default Headlight Restoration

I've seen a few members post their results for headlight restoration and I wanted to share my results. I used Meguiars Headlight Restoration kit. I'm happy with the results.

No I just taped around the outside of the headlight so as not to mess up the paint. I could've done a better job near the bottom but it turned out ok.

I did this to mine. but just wet sanded them then used a buffer with some compound. Same results. Didn't tape up around the light as just buffed the fender and bumper and grille at the same time.

Looks great, I want to do mines, but the driver side one looks really messed up, maybe from the inside part of the plastic.

I have a problem regarding headlights now, what happened is I cleaned the engine bay while the car is on. So I used super clean degreaser and works perfect and afterwards, I spray meguiars super shine interior detailer. Now, the problem is that both headlights have a moisture thingy inside. Im not sure if its the superclean's moist or its the meguiars that causes that..I wonder how I can remove that moist inside?any advise?

vonred, most likely the moisture is from the water. Liking the seal on the headlight is bad. Only way to get it out is new lights really.

Take the light off and throw it in the oven for 20 minutes at 220 degrees. Take some clamps and put them around the light to try and reseal it from anymore moisture getting in.
