Default Good Scratch Remover

hey guys,

i was wondering if anyone has any info on good scratch removers,
looking for both clear coat scratch removers as well as normal scratch removers,
or any other advice when i comes to trying things out.
my trunk is loaded with fine clear coat scratches and it drives me crazy,
i used like half a bottle of scratch doctor on it, and it looked perfect afterwards,
but then when it came to washing time, all of the scratch doctor was gone due to it just being a wax.

im looking for something more permanent. any recommendations?

Clay bar first. If that doesn't help wetsand with soapy water and 1500-2000 grit sand paper. Finish with compound and wax. Theres nothing much you can do about deep paint scratches. Well there is but it involves some time and labor.

Clear coat swirls and light scratches can be corrected with a buffer/polisher and some compound. You shouldn't need to wet sand...

It depends how deep your scratch is. But I used Meguiars ScratchX 2.0 and Meguiars Swirl X Remover and both did an amazing job on my car. Friends of mine were saying it looked like I got a new paint job. You can get them at Walmart, AutoZone and other place. I definitely would try this much cheaper option first and if it doesn't work, then move to the more expensive.

Good Luck
