Default Car Washes

Just a thought, and if it was done already, my bad. As per the search feature, I didnt find anything. Post what car washes everybody goes to. Hand wash, do it yourself joint, etc. If possible post the location and price too. I've gone to the hand wash joint on horace harding next to arbys quite a few times. Not bad, just looking for other options. A full wash with armor all'd tires was like 14 or 15 bucks last time I went which was a while ago.

Last year i washed my car twice all year. Once for the BK meet and once for Maxus. Usually I would say hand wash but there is this fully touch-less place in fishkill NY that my mom showed me, so thats where i'll be going from now on. Nice since i don't have to worry about bottoming out or scratching the rims.

There's a spot on I think 123rd ST & Rockaway blvd -- You can either go thru the car wash or get it hand washed. $20 + tip for interior & exterior & they use the air hose to get all the water out of the creases. They take about 45 mins - 1 hour. They take their time with each car.

I try to hand wash it @ home whenever I could but lately I havent cuz 1.. it takes 2 long & i dont have enough time & 2.. it was toooo cold!

I hand wash my cars because these big car wash places always do shyt in a rush just to take the next customer and do the same. Poor quality in drying usually... at least the machines try their best.

I try to wash once a week or every two weeks. Those 24hr car washes have night specials after 7pm, you get the superwash for $9 which includes wax, rainx, tire shine. The one I go to on cross bay blvd, you can ask for a towel afterwards and finish up the drying yourself the right way. And they just tore the place down and built it bigger and better, everything there is brand new, few months old now.

Very true, those big car washes dont give a shit about your car. Especially if you got mods, and are dropped. They always got that disclaimer on the outside. "Not responsible for lowered vehciles or any modded cars" Car washes are a dime a dozen. I guess hand wash spots and do it yourself is the way to go. Dont some members on here detail cars on the side ?

Damn, how do you guys wash your cars once a week?!?! I wish i had the time or will to do that. I aim to do it 1-2 times a month. Just washed her on Friday and on Saturday it rained in Houston. Probably the reason why i dont wash her too often. Like Eddy and some others, i wash it myself.

+1. there is this car wash up the road from me, and I swear when the weather gets nice all of Prince William County, Va goes there, even police, the line gets stupid. the time they spend waiting in line you can serisouly wash and clean your car yourself. Although i've seen the cars look good, but haven't inspected their work, because I know they wont clean my wheels, they might wipe them off. I think imma try them one day and see what how they do.
