Default Which Tire to Use (DD)

Okay, so when I bought this car back in June, I knew inevitably I would need to replace the tires, as they were worn from the previous owner. Since I know these babies are gonna be expensive no matter how I slice it, I want to know;

What are the best brand tire to use for DD, on the stock 18'' rims?

Goodyear eagle GT tires stick like glue. They also handle very sport like and look nice. The problem for me was they went bald in less than 20 thousand miles. In cold weather they had no traction at all. Says all season but when the temp drops below 40 they loose traction. I now have some Falcons.

My RSAs were terrible! I now have Goodyear Eagle F1 GS-2 (an OE tire for Corvette, Solstice, Sky) and they are awesome! Strictly a summer tire though. But they stick like mad!

Continental DWS tires. Got em in stock size, run beautifully. They're a little squeemish when you push em through corners at first, but now, the car runs as if on rails. Great in moderate snow/slush too. Have 20k on them, wear is even, and it looks like I'll be able to get 70k total before replacement.

These are the ones to have. Pricey, but they have a 60,000 mile limited tread wear warranty plus the manufacturers Standard Limited Warranty that you will not get with most other tires of this quality.

I have had my set for three and a half years. Zero problems.

Nick, when did you get a set of these tires? The last I remember you were considering some other tires because of budget issues.

Thank you all so much for the input. I'm gonna have to price all of these out and compare to see what's best for the value. Tires are expensive... Probably gonna blow my entire tax return on tires and an oil change. Lol.

I just got Falken Ziex ZE-512's and I'm glad they're just temporary until I get my +1 wheels and tires. ROAD NOISE! So don't get those, however the car came with Fierce tires. They're an offshoot of BF Goodrich I think? They were pretty good, grippy and quiet.
