Default Platidip + Nismo + Satin Finish Stock 18's

Check out the pic. These didnt come out bad at all. So i goo-gone'd the crap out if my old plastidip wheel art, that looked horrible, in order to re-do them. I did a few good coats of pladtidip, applied the Nismo wheel decals then used a satin finish clear coat. IMO, these came out awesome for less then $10. I get compliments all day long and nobody believes they are stock lol. Just figured I'd share

Thought about it. I have never done the center caps on the max when I have plastidipped them. Kinda dig the grey middle. Just a personal preference thing..

You can pop the burgers off that will leave two holes then I used JB weld to patch them then sanded them smooth

very simple

looks awesome! when used correctly, plasti-dip does a lot to the cosmetics of the wheels for dirt cheap. i personally used it to hide curb rashes on my front wheels and they are not even noticeable anymore

I agree. The satin clear finish I did over these looks gorgeous. The main reason I did the clear coat here was because cleaning straight plastidip is more or less impossible. Not to mention the peeling, etc... I can tell but the feel and texture of it that it isnt "hard as a rock" sealed so a good scratch with a fingernail or whatever object will still peel these - but they clean REALLY easy. And i love the fact that this is still "temporary" because of plastidip being the base. Goo-gone spray is plastidips worst enemy. It literally disintegrates it.
But if these hold up well, I think I'll be keeping them like this for a while!

That really is a bad hit man... I can see how the enhanced appeal of plasitdipped wheels would attract more thieves and junkies, lol. I check all 4 of my wheels before i drive my car every time because of my lug nuts. Im afraid one day they will be gone lol. At least one lug on each wheel is a 1-of-a-kind locking lug. It wayyyy worth it for a lug lock. If you like to keep your wheels, that is.

Default Re: Platidip + Nismo + Satin Finish Stock 18's

Hey, I really like these. Came out very cool, nice lugs, the Nismo decal is awesome I even like the emblem in the middle the way it is. Great job

I did a few good coats of pladtidip, applied the Nismo wheel decals then used a satin finish clear coat. IMO, these came out awesome for less then $10. I get compliments all day long and nobody believes they are stock lol. Just figured I'd share
