Default My Freshly Painted 18" G35 Wheels

So I had my g35 wheels painted and they were finished the other day. I took a few pics when I stopped in to give them my center caps that I forgot to drop off with the wheels.

The color is "Matte Magnesium Silver". In the pictures it looks fairly stock but its definitely darker in person.

Thanks guys! Just waiting to get some tires now...

When I bought the wheels they had some 235/40/18 Potenza RE760s mounted with about 50% treadlife left. Can I run these in the meantime until I buy some new tires? Im hoping it would only be for a few weeks at best.

(Someone please let me know if I need to move this to a new/diff thread.)

I would wait. No sense in risking the mount dismount and remount for crappy tires. Those should look great.

Sorry for the delay... I got impatient and went ahead and mounted the potenzas to run through the summer. I also figured I wouldn't have a chance to ride UHP summer tires in the near future. The guy at the shop said he would do a remount for me when I get new tires. They have a 1 year warranty on their wheel refinishing work.

Right after install:
Forgot to drop off my center caps so they weren't on yet. Tires were seriously lacking shine and suspension settled a little after a few days off the lift... but it really needs modded

But wow at the gap. That gap is truly very noticeable.

I am not lowered, but my gap is nothing close to that. Maybe because my wheels and tires are bigger? I have 19x8 with 255/40/R19s on my car. What are the specs on these 18s? And what are the specs on the tires you are running?

Definitely. Your tire diameter would be 27", mine is 25.4" and OEM 18" tires (245/45r18) tires are 26.7". My wheels are 18x8 and tires are 235/40r18.
