If this is the video about using canned air and a blow dryer, I'm thinking about using it on my door. (can't see the video on the iPhone)

Good info Jersey! So, the hot and cold coming from the can and hairdryer is supposed to take dents out? Not entirely sure how that's supposed to work but I'm gonna try it soon.

the heat expands the metal, then when the cold is immediately placed, it sends a shocked feeling through the metal and as it cools itself rapidly, it will go back to its original shape.

Damn I need to try this on my car asap. I doubt it will fix the fender at the bottom but definitely maybe the back quarter panel dings. Thanks for sharing.

Did you get the spot hot enough and how close did you have the hair dryer to the dent?

i followed the procedure that i read online. sprayed it with enough of the dust cleaner...then immediately followed with the hair dryer. did it 3 times and it still looked the same no matter how much i tried to convince myself otherwise

I tried it as well, I even had a heat gun, which gets much hotter than a hair dryer. Tried it 3 times and didn't work. Could've just been the dents I was trying to work with!

They have to be recent dents not on any edges or creases. I had minor hail damage on my previous car and i used a heat gun and some dry ice wrapped in a thin towel. The hail damage had only been there for four days. It did not get a few out that were close to an edge or crease but i had a body shop do the rest for a fraction of the original quote on all of the damage.
