Default How To Fix The Rear Deck Rattle The Cheap/Ghetto Way

So, we all know the rear deck rattles. And many people have taken the deck apart and covered it in Dynamat. I guess that works, I'm not really sure. But being the lazy, cheap ass that I am, I didn't want to take the time to take the deck apart and pay all that money for the Dynamat. So I had to find a different solution, and here's what it is.

Remove the 3rd brake light from the rear deck and stuff a wad of bubble wrap under deck cover on both sides of where the light mounts. Replace light.

As best as I can tell, this has eliminated at least 90% of the rattles I was having.

Let the jokes begin!

Cool points are given or taken, lost or stolen and sometimes rewarded. That is, depending on the level of ghettoness... LOL!
