Default How to Fix LED Tails Abnormal Blinking or Only One Brake Light Working

Courtesy of Edgar aka Max2damax

--------------------

Problem: abnormal blinking or only one brake light works.

Solution:
Basically what is going on is that the connector on the oem bulb is thicker that the connector the led tail lights, so all you have to do (make sure the car is off and you don't have the any lights on) is close the pins on the stock connector and spread apart the pins on the lights, look at the pics.

And once again, make sure you have the black cable line up with the white black cable on the car!!!

Nah they did not splice anything they just plugged them in wrong, but I am not opening them things up on my own,,, lol

They need to be switched to the right way and the connectors opened up because only only one stop light (which should be the blinker) is working on the drive side...

I've tried just opening up the connections twice now. They seem to just lose tightness.
Last time I took their connections and folded the wire leads over. Sort or making a "J" shape. Makes for a tight connection that cant "push away".

I bent the last 1/3 of each wire lead under to make it stick out more.

I think they only blink fast when you add switchback leds for your parking/turn signal bulbs. When you put those in, it causes the tail light signals to blink fast too.. you gotta wire up a resistor to it to get it back to normal.

hey Guys, I have EZ LED tails, All the lights were working when I installed them, now right side BRAKE doesnt work. But as you all know, the EZ tails are not seperate bulbs, and all plug and play. All the other lights work on that side, but when i press the brakes down, they just go out. Any thoughts?

Bend the pins outward. That'll fix them.

Open up the connectors and pull the metal prongs a bit and plug them back in. It's a connection problem, nothing else.

Everybody has those. They're against the side wall inside the trunk. Why do you have that disconnected? It has nothing directly to do w your tail lights. Your connectors on the taillights are the issues.
