Default Glove Box Cable Assist

I changed my cabin filter on my 08 Maxima, but managed to unhook the cable/line that helps retract the glove box. I'm having trouble hooking it back to the left side because the cable/line isn't very long.

Can anyone offer any advice?

Thank you

Try to pull it and have the glove compartment sideways that wire retracts

06BlckMax,

Thanks for the reply. I wasn't sure if there was something else I could dismantle for easier access. I'll give it another try.

Jony09,

Thanks for the reply. I did try this but didn't have much luck. I'm usually pretty good at this stuff, but that line is pretty short. haha

I replaced my cabin filter today and the cable was no where to be found, my glove box still works as it should, so I'm not really sure how much functionality the cable provides...
