Default Door Guards

Hi guys, is there any way to remove the door guard from the door and smooth out the gap or nah? I just looked at a 7th gen and got upset because I feel like it takes away from the sportiness a little bit. That, and the CVT...

I believe its just double sided tape, but there is an indent in the doors when you take them off so there will be a good amount of body work and repaint involved, can get expensive I'm sure

Thank you for the shots. I was able to clearly see what it's like. Meh. I might just leave mine on. It just sucks because they've started to "yellow"

I'm thinking about using blackout tape to change the door guards from white to black...maybe that's an option for you too if they're starting to yellow.

Might be interesting... I have a white car with all black accents as it is... I already blacked out the roof strips that fade on our cars

I think they do look good. I mean, its all about being creative and do something that someone has not summed up the courage to do. Not everybody can like what you will do to your car. As long as you like it, that is great.

Not really sure how I feel about them yet. I need go for a joyride and see if people give stares. At first I was iffy about how it looks, but now I kinda like them because it looks different. I will fully black them out when the weather gets more sunny. WILL POST UP FINAL PICS. LATER THIS WEEK!

IMO, unique... I don't know I'd have to see it after a couple weeks. Maybe all black. Cuz I actually like the black accent as it is. U did it tastefully tho. Good job man.
