Default Where To Get 07' Bumper?

Well good evening friends. I have decided to do this to my 6th gen. I was originally going to do a mugen lip on it but the 04-06 bumpers look like ass no matter what. i found where i can get the brackets for the fog lights, fog lights and grill. now where can i get the 07 bumper. i see a whole bunch on ebay but hows the fitment on those? should i just get them from a nissan dealership or just smoke a fat blunt? anything else i should get? Thanks!

Yeah, if it was just as easy as the bumper a lot more people would have the conversion done.

Negative. Im not doing a front end conversion. just the bumper as title stated.

I will be doing this.http://www.my6thgen.org/showthread.php?t=607

Now it wont look great, it will look slightly off but i dont care. Im taking the dirty Peruvian route since i wasnt even supposed to spend any money on this car to begin with. So does anyone know if the ebay version fits well? The nissan stealership will want pretty penny for these and b4 i pay i want to make sure there arent any alternatives. Tonks.

Ok, The grill wont work with that bumper, the hood lines wont match and you will have gaps between your headlights.

So how did he get the 07 grill to work? He still has the 05 hood and it fits perfectly. Im aware of everything mentioned. I can tell from the pictures and from other members who have done it. If it bothers me enough.... which it probably wont. i'll start changing out the rest

Yes, it bolts up but that's not what Im talking about. Im just let you know so you don't come back in a month and start a dumb thread complaining how the hood lines don't match. How come my grill wont fit? and Headlights have a gap. That car is dark, you can't see it and He has an 07-08 grill in that picture. You are not really looking. I did the entire conversion and not all at once. I know better but apparently don't care, so go ahead buy an 07-08 bumper, just don't come back complaining because I'll say , i told you so. You noobs need to listen to some of us that have been there already and have done all these conversions..

Does anybody know if you can swap the HID internals from the 6th to the 6.5 halogen lights?

Front bumper and grill are on the way and now I'm on the search to find a hood. Hoping I can pick it up Mid September. Just depends on whether I get this promotion or not.

No need to be redundant. you still never answered the question of why the 07 grill will not line up if in the original thread it seems like it fits just fine and he never mentioned any issues. AGAIN, IM NOT DOING A CONVERSION.

Ehh... I remember seeing Owen's car in person.

I can't live with that look of nothing being aligned. lol But that's just me.

It will fit but everything will be off. Eventually he took it off!!

To complete the front you need, bumper, grill headlights and hood. Front bumper can run you from 100 bucks to 200, then add painting.

Well from what he saying is that if you going to do what he did , you can get the hood and put it away, get the lights and put it away then get the bumper and put it away , and then add it all at once.

If you want to add the bumper and not care about it not fitting then is fine too just know it will not align the right way but you can ride like that until you want.

But to make the bumper look good then you going to have to change the hood, then after that you will have to change the headlights and you are done.

The way I did it was like this. My car was not a daily driver at the time though. I sold my headlights and bumper. Took that money and bought 08 bumper and headlights. I sold my 06 headlights for 450 + shipping and front 06 bumper for 150 shipped. I paid 550 for the 08 heads, like new HID. Paid 110 for the front bumper locally. So I was out of pocket 85 bucks. 07-08 grill was 80 shipped. Hood was 575 from local dealer. I didn't want the cheap ones on eBay that are steel instead of aluminum.

Default Re: Where To Get 07' Bumper?

The grille, bumper, headlights, and hood are completely different on 6.5 gens. You can't just change one or two things and expect it to line up. A 6th gen grille won't even fit a 6.5 gen bumper. Basically what raz is saying... If you don't change out everything it loooks like shit. He's right. I've seen it all in person.

The 6.5 gen conversion is a waste of money for an altima front end imo.

Plenty of other options to make the front end look better.

It says 100.45, not 98. Either way that is a good price if it's factory and not aftermarket. Aftermarket might not fit as good.
