Hey guys,
About a month back I noticed my the lighting behind my tach (around the 3k-4k mark) starting to flicker. Sometimes when I drive it stays on like nothing is wrong, and other times it flickers, then stays out. The rest of the lighting behind my tach and the rest of my dash is perfectly fine. So I'm wondering if I have a short somewhere and if it could be easily fixed? Thanks

Might be a circuit board or led since its only one spot. @1hawaii50 probably can help you out with more info. He does most of Gauge cluster conversions.

On one of the conversions I did, when I checked it after I was finished, one of the LEDs was lit much more dimly than the others, and it seemed to have a very "soft" flicker to it. I removed the LED and replaced it again, and all was well afterwards.

Is there a how to, to take off the dash? Changing out that led should be easy, I just dont want to tear anything up taking apart the dash.
