You need a 912 or 194/168 bulb.

3156 is too big.

The bulb is a 921, 912 size T15. You can fit a 194 into the socket. (bulb base/socket is the same)
3156 will not work.

Btw, If its a "true" 3156 bulb you can use it for your cornering bulbs in the bumper. Needs to only have 2 wires at the base otherwise its a 3 wire 3157. I used to get led manufacturers saying the 3157 works the same as 3156. They don't. They blow fuses.

I learned that the hard way bro, one of my cornering lights caught on fire because I used a 3157 bulb, it was a tiny flame but still ruined the cornering light socket, but it's okay because my cornering lights are long gone, I have real fogs now
