the chrome is peeling? I know with plasti dip your not suppose to sand. you might be better just sand and paint if done right will look 100% better than plasti dip. everything Ive plasti dipped looks like shit with this 100 degree weather.

Peel that sh*t off and paint it the real way lol, I hate plastidip now, looks nice at first but in a month it'll look like complete crap, and after a while it'll be hard to take off

You guys must not know how to plastidip. Plastidip should not peel. It will chip though. Just re dip it.

I dipped my rear valence over a year ago and I haven't had ANY problems with peeling or anything.

^^^^Actually in my
Opinion it's the opposite

I've never heard of it chipping, but peeling yes, and I know out of experience, I painted my dads wheels with them in cold weather and the paint was peeling hardcore after like 2 days

and I know I did it right because i plastidipped my old grille and my wheels and never ever had problems with peeling or chipping, it's most likely the weather or time he painted it, and how fast the coats were put on

Only thing I have plasti dipped on my car is the roof strips, the left rear strip is starting to get really faded has a little white tone in it. Lookin like I need to redo it or something. But the weather out here sucks she gets sand blasted all the time and it's hot as hell.
