Default Mufflers and Painting

Has anyone ever painted their ebay mufflers black and happen to own a metallic grey 06 max. I am curious as to what it would look like and if it would look BA. I know painting would help the mufflers/ exhaust system from rusting but it is worth it if the paint looks ridiculous and retardedly out of place..

That is what I did. I only did the mufflers recently and I regret not doing it sooner. I plan to take it off this summer sand and re do it right.

Even though my Cattman Exhaust is supposed to be stainless steel it is rusting. This is by no means a knock on Brian or Cattman products. As far as covering my rust I like your approach, the flat black looks NICE! However, my exhaust has been on my car for four years and is difficult to re-install (Headers to Catback) so a superficial coat may have to do.

Doing mine in engine spray paint, silver. Only to make sure they do not rust. I would do plastic dip but I do not think it can take that kind of heat. Ordered my ebay today. I will take pictures in like 1-2 weeks when they finally get here... yawn
