I dropped my bumper, and I mounted the ballasts to the OEM bumper supports using double-sided tape and heavy duty zip ties. You don't HAVE to drop the bumper, but I think it makes it a little easier and gives you a little more working room.

Thank you, but I didn't do this install, cause I wanted to have the fogs on an independent switch, so I went to see my sound guy who does H.I.D's, my car is an 04, I did the 07-08 conversion, so I told him what I wanted, and he made it happen.

I thought you could just use your light switch on the steering wheel to turn it on
or rewire it to your parking lights?

With the conversion from 04 headlamps to 07-08 headlamps, there is some steps you have to do to get it to function like a 07-08 car, but I told my guy to run it seperate, so if I want, I can drive with out having my head lights on, I drive around in the daytime with my fog H.I.D's running, I know im a dick for that, but I think it looks good, so I do it.
