I dropped my bumper, and I mounted the ballasts to the OEM bumper supports using double-sided tape and heavy duty zip ties. You don't HAVE to drop the bumper, but I think it makes it a little easier and gives you a little more working room.

With the conversion from 04 headlamps to 07-08 headlamps, there is some steps you have to do to get it to function like a 07-08 car, but I told my guy to run it seperate, so if I want, I can drive with out having my head lights on, I drive around in the daytime with my fog H.I.D's running, I know im a dick for that, but I think it looks good, so I do it.
